The business operation of our company is committed to exercising Zero Burning system in cultivating new areal, managing and maintaining areas that are appointed to have High Conservation Value (HCV), identifying and monitoring animals and plants that are under protection, and rehabilitating along river area by planting local trees.
Zero Burning
Our company’s system and proactive effort in fire emergency preparedness and response are following Standard Operational Procedures for Emergency Preparedness and Response, reinforcing Fire Extinguishing Structure and Team, supplying and examining fire facilities and infrastructure, and being active in collaborating with the surrounding community and stakeholders for fire mitigation in the form of socialisation (briefing, installation of sign boards). In 2019, our company received an award from the governor of South Sumatera in environmental management and preparedness in forest and land fire prevention.

Greenhouse gas emission is reduced by identifying and monitoring all emission sources in all operational activities (both plantations & factories). The effort to reduce emissions includes applying quality management practices by utilising resources that are efficient and environment friendly. Since 2017, we have been receiving Green Industry Awards from the Ministry of Industry for our processing facilities For integrated pest control in the field, we utilise biological control agents and implement habitat management by planting beneficial plants. We employ environmental and employee protection from the risk of harmful chemicals.
